Design your own Miniature Stained Glass Window in the centuries old lead came method - with Cecilia of BoggioGlass
Have you ever wondered how those beautiful stained glass windows in cathedrals and Victorian houses were made? Come and learn how, as you make your own miniature window. Light will dazzle and dance through your one-of-a-kind creation.
You will be coached and assisted to
Design a 4” square pattern
Cut the glass
Assemble in the traditional lead came method
Solder together and polish
You will be provided with one piece of beveled glass that refracts light into a rainbow, and an assortment of stained (colored) glass to choose from. All supplies, as well as a signature cocktail and appetizer are included in the $60 class fee. Tools are available for purchase separately.
Please note: Lead is safe as long as it is not inhaled or ingested. We will be taking all precautions to make sure lead stays outside of your body. We may be getting dirty. Please dress appropriately. These little works of art are not meant for children’s toys or to be used with food. Ages 16 and up.
